A few months ago we started a cooperation with Munich based Solarius GmbH on a new, fascinating project!
Our new client is active in the field of metrology and control engineering. The company specializes in providing precision systems for 2D and 3D non-contact surface inspection, measurement, analysis, and visualization. Solarius produces, among other products, precise measurement machines for semiconductors, including wafers with chips and this is the area in which we are supporting them.
The aim of the project is creating a UI (User Interface) for a completely new type of client’s tool called SIMP. The software that we are preparing together with the German team will ultimately control this machine and define the measurement schemes.
We are programming it in C#, using WPF. Importantly, it will be the first such UI in the company’s offer.
It is worth mentioning that we managed to start the project very quickly – only 2 weeks after the first enquiry from the client. So far the enterprise has been developing very dynamically and our partner is satisfied with the progress made by our programmers. After a few months of work we managed to run the system on the first machine. Here you can see how the device operates in practice: https://youtu.be/bLFedz2DD7A.
Nevertheless, our cooperation with Solarius is not finished yet. We are going to continue our work on its maintenance and further development and we are very glad about this!
